Fire in the Swedish Migrant Center 20 injured


Sweden - Up to 20 people were affected by the fire in the center for migrants in detention in the town of Vanersborg in Sweden, about 80 kilometers north of Gothenburg.

Two residents of the center were seriously injured after jumped from the windows of the burning building.

Cause of fire is still unclear, the police are investigating.

The fire occurred on the background of the recent statements of the President of Donald Trump, who said that the influx of migrants has led to a dramatic increase in crime in Sweden.

The fire broke out on the third floor in a building Reshtad center after four o'clock in the morning local time.

Most of the victims received minor injuries or were poisoned by combustion products, two people taken to a local hospital.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and is currently building cordoned off during the investigation.
As of May 2016, a total population of about 1,600 people at the center.

In a burning building, there were about 160 people. They were temporarily transferred to the premises of gymnastic hall.
