Tightrope walker Vallenda passed without insurance over Chicago

American tightrope walker and acrobat Nik Wallenda in front of thousands of people went through the ropes stretched between skyscrapers in Chicago. Part of the route he overcame without insurance blindfolded.

35-year-old gymnast, whose tricks six times already recorded in the Guinness World Records, first went on the cable that connects the two towers on the opposite banks of the river (it is like a city called Chicago).

The second part of the journey was shorter - a cable between the towers of the building complex "Marina City" on the north bank of the Chicago River. Here Vallenda put blindfolded and refused insurance.

Over the river, he was 6 minutes 52 seconds. At the same tightrope walker was at an altitude of over 150 meters, sustaining wind gusts up to 40 mph. The cable was stretched obliquely at 17 degrees.
