Euro 2016 Portugal beat Poland 1-4 in final


In the first quarterfinal match at Euro 2016 Portugal national team won the Polish team in the penalty shootout.

Portugal advanced to the semifinals of Euro-2016, eliminating five homers 3 (1-1 aet) Poland, Thursday night at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille.

Portugal will meet in the semifinals the winner of the Wales-Belgium which takes place Friday at Lille.

The Poles had opened the scoring through Robert Lewandowski after 1 minute and 40 seconds, the second fastest goal in the history of the tournament, before the Portuguese Renato Sanches equalized with a fine shot from the left on 33 minutes .

In the penalty shootout, the Polish Jakub "Kuba" Blaszczykowski missed his attempt and the Portuguese Ricardo Quaresma gave the qualification to his country.

Portugal was a semifinalist in the previous edition in 2012 and lost on penalties against Spain eventual winners.
