The black widow sentenced to be hanged in Japan

Japan: Tisako Kakehi, nicknamed the Black Widow, is sentenced to death. The woman was found guilty of the murder of her husband and two lovers, as well as in an attempt to assassinate a friend's life in order to obtain an inheritance.

The District Court of Kyoto sentenced a 70-year-old woman to be hanged, despite arguments of defense that the defendant is demented.

Kakiehi committed murders "out of love for money," explained the judge.

The defendant listened dispassionately. Earlier, she told the judges that "even if she is executed tomorrow, she will die with a smile."

The autopsy revealed that the bodies of the dead contain a large amount of acid. Traces of poison were found in the house of Kakieha.

Over the past twenty years, the woman had four husbands, and in total was in close contact with more than 10 men who died under strange circumstances.

With her last husband, she lived only a month.

As an heir to his victims, an elderly Japanese woman received almost $9 millions, but lost most of these funds in failed financial operations.

The trial of Tisako Kakehi reminded of the case of another "black widow" - Kanai Kijima, sentenced in 2012 to death for the murder of three lovers. The court found that the woman killed her victims after she borrowed money from them.
