On Sunday, Pakistan's Hamza Khan secured victory over Egypt's Mohammad Zakaria to claim the World Junior Squash Championship 2023 title.
During the tournament held in the city of Melbourne, Australia, Hamza defeated Zakaria with a score line of 3-1.
According to PTV Sports, the last time a Pakistani made it to the final was in 2008 when Aamir Atlas and the ultimate champion Jahangir Khan represented Pakistan.
Expressing his gratitude and acknowledging the support he received, Hamza, who had previously won the Under 15 title at the British Junior Open Squash Championship in 2020, thanked his coach, managers, and parents for their cooperation.
