Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Nine Soldiers Killed in Suicide Attack on Army Convoy in Jani Khel

In Pakistan's province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the region connected to Bannu district and North Waziristan, a suicide attack on a security forces convoy resulted in the deaths of nine soldiers and left five injured.

According to details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a suicide attacker on a motorbike detonated near a military convoy, leading to the deaths of nine soldiers, including a Deputy Governor.

Prime Minister's adviser Anwar ul Haq Kakar condemned the incident, stating that this "cowardly attack" has also caused injuries to many personnel.

Local police reported that the suicide bomber riding a motorbike exploded himself near Mali Khel Check post in Jani Khel when a security forces convoy was passing by.

The wounded and bodies were shifted to the Military Command Hospital.

Following the attack, forces have cordoned off the area and initiated an operation, according to ISPR.
