Pakistan Ends 32-Year Olympic Wait as Arshad Nadeem Wins Gold: "This Independence Day, We'll Celebrate with a Gold Medal"

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan has made history at the Paris Olympics by winning the gold medal in javelin throw, setting a new Olympic record. His remarkable achievement not only brought him the gold but also ended Pakistan’s three-decade-long wait for an Olympic medal.

Arshad's incredible throw of 92.97 meters is the best of his career.

In the final held at Stade de France on Thursday night, Arshad's first throw was a foul, but his second throw shattered the Olympic record set in 2008.

This throw is not only the greatest of Arshad's career but also the sixth longest javelin throw ever recorded worldwide. Arshad also threw over 90 meters with his final attempt in the competition.
