- Fires broke out near Bursa on Sunday morning.
- Over 1,700 people were evacuated from nearby villages.
- A firefighter died durring firefighting due to heart attack while fighting with the flames.

- Forests and farms in northwest Turkey are burning.
- Atleast 3,000 hectares (7,413 acres) of land with wild branches have been destroyed.
- The fire even forced officials to close the highway between Bursa and Ankara.

- A local lawmaker said the area looks like an apocalypse.
- Turkey’s Forestry Minister said crews fought 84 fires across the country on Saturday.
